It’s all the crazy people, the different noises, and all of the flashing lights. It is one of my favorite places; this portal leading to adventures anywhere in the world. It is where you start when you pick up your life, when you want to get away, when you want to know absolutely no one. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Los Angeles International Airport. I really think that people do not appreciate or realize how gorgeously significant the airport is. It is almost always the first step towards a giant escapade. Maybe I love it because I love leaving things behind for a while, or because I love being surrounded by complete strangers that I most likely will never see again, or because I know if I ever want to run away, the airport is the place to go. This massive wonderland holds thousands and thousands of grumpy, excited, and strange people all at once. You could take a trip to Thailand or just head on down to San Diego; you could even meet your soul mate in this fabulous mush of people. The possibilities are endless. I could definitely get attached to the idea of endless possibilities— it suits my comfort. Somehow, the airport shows me that there is more out there. Once I step on a plane, my life could be forever changed. The airport is where my life will start when I go to college, and when I travel the world. It will be the beginning of many beginnings for me. It will be my doorway to infinite journeys.
